Fishing Trip to the White River, Flippin, AR

Monday, April 2nd, 2018 - 5:00pm to Sunday, April 8th, 2018 - 11:00am

This will be the first time we go to Flippin, AR in the Spring as a trout group. We have gone in the late summer (early September) before the leaves take over the rivers.

Go to: whiteholeresort.com and check it out.

Tim Looney (678-767-3112) will be taking reservations now. Let him know how many nights. He has reserved 4 cabins that can hold 8 people each. He can reserve more cabins that hold from 3-4 people. Last Fall we had 31 people attend form 4 to 6 nights. We stay at White Hole Resort in Flippin, AR. Tim will need payment in-full for your cabin cost by February 15th. His costs will be determined by the number of reservations.

The fishing is great in early September...we will see what it is like in the early Spring.

Several people bring angler kayaks or canoes. There are several float trips from 4.5 miles to 12.5 miles on the White River and the North Fork of the White. So plan on bringing your personal watercraft. Boats and motors are available at the resort that hold 3 fishermen for about $120/boat/day, motor, gas, and PFDs. Guides with boats are also available through the resort. Boat and guide reservations must be made on your own...do it early, by February 28th.

If the water is high and fast, wading may not be suggested. Bring your kayak or canoe...save big!.

Each cabin works out their own menu for breaffast, lunch, and dinner. All staying in that cabin shares the food costs, cooking, and cleanup.

We usually have a welcome meal/cook-out for the first evening that everyone shows up.
