GO TO FAIRMOUNT AND TAKE US HIGHWAY 411 NORTH.

FROM FAIRMOUNT TRAVEL ABOUT 19 MILES TO STOP LIGHT AT RAMHURST / SMYRNA RD.

TURN RIGHT, GO ABOUT 250 yards AND TURN RIGHT AND THEN TAKE AN IMMEDIATE LEFT.

YOU ARE NOW ON OLD FEDERAL ROAD. STAY ON OLD FEDERAL FOR 2.3 MILES (2 MILES & 3 TENTHS)

TURN RIGHT ON PEEPLES LAKE ROAD.

THIS IS A LONG DIRT ROAD. AFTER GOING ABOUT 5 MILES LOOK FOR SIGN DIRECTING YOU TO THE WORK AREA.

DIRECTIONS FROM CHATSWORTH.

FROM MURRAY COUNTY COURTHOUSE GO EAST ON HWY 76 FOR 0.9 MILE (9/10) & TURN RIGHT ONTO OLD FEDERAL ROAD.

GO ABOUT 3.8 MILES TO PEEPLES LAKE ROAD.

STAY ON PEEPLES LAKE ROAD FOR ABOUT 5 MILES & LOOK FOR SIGN DIRECTING TO WORK AREA

AS USUAL, FOOD AND DRINKS WILL BE SUPPLIED FOR ALL

 

 

 

LOVINGGOOD CREEK WORKDAY AUGUST 9th

 

FROM ROME GO TO ELLIJAY

 

DIRECTIONS FROM ELLIJAY

 

FROM HWY 515 (4-LANE) TAKE HWY 52 TOWARD DAWSONVILLE FOR 4.8 MILES APPX.

TURN LEFT ON BIG CREEK ROAD. (S1010)

 

STAY ON THIS ROAD NEVER TURNING LEFT OR RIGHT. FOR ABOUT 12.5 MILES

 

(EVEN THOUGH BIG CREEK RD. WILL MAKE A LEFT HAND TURN) DO NOT TURN, "GO STRAIGHT"

(IT WILL CHANGE NAMES TO DOUBLEHEAD GAP ROAD.)

 

AS YOU APPROACH THE 12.5(APPX) MILE MARK YOU WILL BE GOING UP HILL.

AT THE CREST OF THE HILL, MT. PLEASANT CHURCH WILL BE ON THE LEFT.

TURN RIGHT

TURN ONTO FOREST SERVICE RD 42 AND GO APPROX.  5 MILES.

 

TURN LEFT ONTO FOREST SERVICE RD 58-A AND GO ABOUT 1 MILE TO WORKSITE

  1. From Helen GA take GA 17/75 North toward Robertstown.
  2. At Robertstown, pass Hwy 356 to Unicoi and turn left over the Chattahoochee River at the Flea Market.
  3. Just over the river, turn right onto Poplar Stump Road.

 

  1. Follow Poplar Stump Rd. along the Chattahoochee River as it turns to gravel and enters the Chattahoochee WMA.
  2. Park at the FS 178 Bridge.  It is the first bridge that crosses the river to your right.
